During the late 1960s and early 1970s, the University of Cincinnati experienced a wave of protest and radicalism on campus, much like other universities throughout the United States. The height of the protest occurred in May of 1970, immediately after the Kent State shootings. Stephen Collins foster was born in Pittsburgh in 1826. He wasnaturally inclined to music and he wrote over one hundred and seventy songs in his short life.
